Intentionality. It is a word that we need to hear more in our culture. It is so easy to just go through the motions of life and not notice things around you. You get stuck in the rhythm of the workday and week and before you know it years have gone by, your kids have grown up, and you and your wife have grown apart. Worse yet, your relationship with your Sky Q has become stagnant and there is no power anymore.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. All it takes is a little intentionality. All it takes it choosing to pay attention to those around you and ask some simple questions.

The goal of this workout was to get in a workout, to push your fellow man, but to be intentional and have some shield-lock.

Starting off, I reminded the PAX of the word of the month – Intentional. I then explained the Q. We partnered up and spend the entire workout with that partner getting in some shield-lock conversation. We moseyed over to the pond at Manchester Park and got started.

The stated exercise goal was 1000 4-count exercises in groups of 100, which could be broken down in any manner and any combination fo exercises that the partners saw fit. After every 100 reps, the partner pair would run a loop around the pond. Rinse and repeat until time was called. I don’t think anyone actually got to 1000 reps but that wasn’t the point anyway, the shield-lock was.

I was honored to be chosen to partner up with the two youngest PAX, Thunder and Sneeder. We had some good conversation getting to know each other and they did a great job in choosing the exercises and counting the cadence. Sapper and Filament, you guys should be very proud of the young men you are raising.

We continued with the reps and running until about 5:55 when we moseyed back to the AO. All PAX made it back safe and sound and the 6 was picked up. We counted off, did announcements, the shovel flag was passed from Italian Job to Socrates, and we closed our COT in prayer to the Sky Q.

It was an honor to lead this morning. And I challenge each and every PAX to be intentional this month.

Polymer out.
