F3 WallStreet: Trying For A Strava Segment

It was a very cold morning over at Wall Street! Yesterday at Old Town I decided it was a great Idea to run out fast in the first two miles and ended up with a knee issue.

I was feeling pretty beat up heading into Wall Street, I had a plan for us to tackle a course record Strava segment over by the Hospital.

So we quickly moseyed over to the Food Lion Parking Lot for a warm up

  • Easy Stretches
  • Toe Touches
  • Lunge Stretch
  • 10 in cadence squats

Then we headed over to the Strava Segment Area, You can see on the strava video.

We did a first pass loop from the top of the hill on Heckle down to the end of the hospital loop at Herlong.

Then the second loop was to go as fast as you can to try to hit the segment, I think the cold turned us away, however many PAX ran super fast to the end.

Then we ventured across the street to a hidden neighborhood the pax had never been to before. Took a small loop and then back up the hill. Stopped at the Chiropractor parking lot.

  • 10 in cadence squats

Headed back towards to the AO.

We finished with some more stretching as is needed after a 5+ mile run.

Thanks to all the pax that came, hoping this knee issue solves itself soon.
