Chaos is always in the cards…

    • When: 04/28/18
    • QIC: Peach
    • The PAX: 11 - Peach, Samurai, Pistol, Mayflower, JAG, Anchorbar, Apache, Popeye, Ponytail, Beaker, Goldplate

We got off to an intellectually disappointing start. Apparently, grown men struggle with the concept of counting off to 2 when asked to “count by twos”. What we had here was a failure to communicate. Eventually, we established groups of 5 and 6, and partners for later work.

After a warm-up of:

SSH x 25, Windmills x 10, Stretches, ImpWlkrs x 15, Morrocan NC x 15, Hillbilly Wlkrs x 15, Italian NC x 15,

Peach brought out the cards. Six from which to choose. The idea being that we are all susceptible to chaos. We never know what cards we’ll draw from day-to-day and week-to-week. We just have to work with the cards we’re dealt, and persevere with God’s help.

Samurai drew the Peach’s Panel of Pain card. Mosey to station.

20 each of:

Burpees, Calf raises, Merkins, LBCs, Mac Tar Jai, Squats, CDD, AmerHammer, Plank Jacks, Mtn Climbers, Wide Arm Merkins, and Hello Dolly, interspersed with 35 yard moseys.

Apache drew the Blackjack card. Mosey to station.

11 Diamond Merkins, 10 LBCs then 10 DMs, 11 LBCs, until we’re down to 1 DM and 20 LBCs. Interspersed with 25 yard moseys.

Goldplate drew the Stairway to Heaven card. Mosey to station.

Group 1 runs the stair route while group two exercises, then swap.

Dips, Right Leg step-up, Left Leg Step-up, Peoples chair, BTTW.

Anchorbar drew the Partner Aggregate card. Mosey to station.

1 partner runs, other exercises until the following aggregate counts are reached: 100 Merkins, 150 Squats, 200 LBCs.

Mosey to COT.

Several men shared some chaos going on in their lives right now. Men… If you don’t invite sharing, you won’t get sharing. #whetstone

Prayers identified for specific chaos- some temporary, some chronic.

Lean on your brothers to lift you up during chaos. It is one of God’s preferred ways of living among us to have brothers lifting brothers.

Peach out!
