As I looked over the Q schedule earlier this week I noticed that the Tavern had no Q. So I decided to contact Ryder to see if he needed one still. He said yes and I appreciate the opportunity very much. You all did a fantastic job today and the mumblechatter was perfect.
We began this morning with a short warmup with the following in cadence: Side Straddle Hops, Low Slow Squats, Peter Parker Peters, Merkins, & Carolina Dry Docks. We then took a mosey across Celanese to the business complex at the corner of Celanese and India Hook performing High Knees, Butt Kickers, Karaoke, and Shuffles through the parking lot. As we went through the parking lot we spelled out the number 809. #remember809
Once we arrived at the complex we did the following:
We then began the real work and partnered up:
Partner 1 runs to the top of the top of the stairs, across the walk, and down the other set of stairs while partner 2 exercises at the bottom of the stairs. Each round was perfomed by all PAX twice. Plank after each round of exercise, pick up the 6, or assist other groups finish.
Hip Thrusters (think Mtn. Climber with both legs).
At this point the PAX was told it was a deconstructed burpee.
We then took a mosey back to the COT for 6 MOM.
It has come to our attention here in the Rock Region that at some athletic events outside of F3 sponsored events there has been some observations made by others about F3. Some of the men have been noted as being overburdening, cliquish, or even rude. This is very disheartening to me, and I am sure it is to you as well.
Now, I am not sure that we struggle with that as much in our region, but I don’t want it to come to that point. We should always remember that as a member of F3 (wearing F3 gear or having an F3 sticker on your vehicle) you represent something much greater than yourself. If you see another brother acting an a manner that you don’t feel will represent himself or our community very well, call him out. Don’t be afraid to as we are called to make each other better.
Also, if you have any kind of faith in a SkyQ (for me it is God), you represent something much bigger than F3. You represent the SkyQ you worship. If you aren’t acting in a manner that is worthy of another man’s opinion, how do you think your SkyQ sees it?
