As I looked over the Q schedule a couple of months ago, I noticed that I had been put down to do this Q. Wednesdays are tough for me to schedule around due to other commitments. However, my schedule allowed for me to make it to BTC on this date. All PAX did a fantastic job this morning. Thank you Iron Sight for allowing me to Q on this date.
We began this morning with a short warmup with the following in cadence: Side Straddle Hops, Low Slow Squats, Peter Parker Peters, Merkins, & Carolina Dry Docks.
We then took a mosey over to York Tech to a patio that is full of benches for a succession series of exercises. After each series of exercises (all in cadence) we took a lap around the two buildings surrounding the as a group back to the patio.
The exercises are as follows:
Series 1: Merkins, Carolina Dry Docks, Squats, LBCs, Apollo Ohnos.
Series 2: Wide Arm Merkins, Dips, Lunges, V-Ups, Hip Thrusters.
Series 3: Irkins, Shoulder Taps, Step-Ups, Big Boy SitUps, High Knees.
Series 4: Derkins, Dips, Side Lunges, Peter Parker Peters, 6” Hold.
We then took a mosey back to the COT where I finished talking about what is below.
Psalm 39:5 Behold, you have made my days a few handbreaths, and my lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath! Selah
Gentlemen, life for us is short. God is infinite. Compared to him our lives are extremely small. I have been realizing lately that in our culture we view life as just something that happens. We don’t really value it as God values it. There are things in our culture, too many to list, that proves this.
The question today for you is even though we have a short life compared to His, who are you living for and how are you living it out. Are you solely focused on yourself or are you focusing on others. Is what you do each day making a difference on someone’s life? Will the person standing at your gravesite say ‘He lived a full life of service?’ or not?
Are you Living 3rd as we are called to do? Life is short . . . Don’t waste it away.
