Then we moseyed to flag at the VA center and recited the Pledge of Allegiance
We then moseyed to the light poles behind the HT shopping center
I shared my heart about attending a marriage conference recently and how thankful I am that God is doing a work in my marriage.
Alternating exercises to each light pole:
1st pass: high knees, butt kickers
2nd pass: Lt. Dan’s, toy soldiers
3rd pass: Run, nur
Tombstone shared his heart about his family with their third child on the way.
Then we moseyed to the rock pile behind HT, partnered up, and picked one coupon per team.
We did AMRAP curls, goblet squats, and overhead presses while the partner ran to the pharmacy and back.
After we returned our coupons we walked up to the HT parking lot while Water Boy shared his heart about his son and his recent baseball injury.
We kept the same partner doing AMRAP merkins, LBC’s, SSH while the partner ran to a cart return, and did 3 pull ups.
We then circled up tight for 20 calf raises IC
As we walked over to Papa John’s, Jester shared his heart about disciplining his son and the Bible verse he’s been thinking about recently: James 1:19 – “This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.”
We then did a quick arm burn, each one 10x IC – big circles forward and back, straight up circles, overhead presses, and Moroccan night clubs
Then we moseyed back to the COT where we had Rooster, Chicken Little, and Herbie share their hearts:
Rooster: Glad to be back in the gloom at the urging of his 2.0 (Chicken Little)
Chicken Little: Grateful for getting up and out to F3 bright and early.
Herbie: His wife and dealing with her breast cancer. Also learning to be still and wait for God.
Then come the count-o-rama, name-o-rama, announcements, prayer/praise, and ball-of-man to wrap it up.
Until next time (4/2 at Independence), White Hat out!
