PAX,

Jamie, myself and our youngest son are returning to Uganda in July of this year, taking a new team to minister within a new refugee camp in Uganda near the western border of the DR Congo.  In the past three years, we have focused our efforts in the village of Kayanja, partnering with Juna Amagara (www.amagara.org) to not only grow the ministry in Uganda but also here in South Carolina.  That growth is at a point where we have three churches involved locally (Carolina Cornerstone-Fort Mill, Lakewood Baptist-Rock Hill (Ryder’s church) and Eternal-Fort Mill) and have grown from one trip a year to three with three different teams.  This trip will be the first of its kind into this refugee camp.  Very recon-ish in focus to determine need(s) and long term viability. We will be heavily focused on evangelism, preaching of the gospel, prayer and investing in the full time ministry personnel on the ground who are working 24/7 for the kingdom.  Personally, I have been asked to preach and invest in the men via small group(s) teaching, prayer and bible study.

I’m asking for support in two ways.  First and foremost is prayer.  We need a solid prayer base while there and in this time leading up to the trip.  Second, we need financial support.  This trip usually runs ~$3500/per person, with the majority being airfare, however, flight costs are higher this year for whatever reason.  Would you be willing to contribute to our funding? We have been saving for sometime but we’re not there yet, as for the three of us to go will run between $10,500-$12,000.

Checks can be mailed to Eternal Church via;
