January had me thinking about the beginning of the new year, so this workout is about the beginning of all things: Creation – Genesis 1

We then moseyed over to the front of Byrnes Auditorium

There is an exercise called “Manmakers” which would have been perfect for this verse but, being that they are too much like burpees, we did NOT do any.

Day 7 – Genesis 2:1-3 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts. By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
This verse brought us to the 4th of the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20:8-11 – “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.”
Message to the PAX:
When Christ came, we began to celebrate the Lords Day instead of the Sabbath. A seventh day of rest is important to us as believers. God has given us a day for worship, teaching, and rest. We should take advantage of these blessings in honor to God as an opportunity for showing to Whom we truly belong.
Then followed the count-o-rama and name-o-rama
